Plans for the New Year

I’ve been a bit slack on the updating side of things, so I’m getting back on top of it all. This year I have a loose plan of getting into the markets. I think at this stage I’m going to start with Bondi Market on Sundays or Glebe Market which is on Sundays too. I’ll def keep everyone posted though once I’ve locked in some dates. There is also the finders keepers market which I love, and if I can get through their strict screening process would be fantastic! So stay tuned! Otherwise, keep an eye out for my new canvases, I have loads of new fabrics waiting to be stretched… very exciting.

Thanks again to everyone who came along to the exhibition, it was a huge success. I sold a lot of canvases and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves which was awesome. I’m not sure when my next event will be, but keep an eye here on my website as I will be venturing to the Bondi Markets at some point. Or if you’re really keen, you can purchase online at my shop

Today is the Day

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there tonight at my exhibition at World Bar. Thanks to everyone for their support, you’ve all been awesome. I will post pictures up here tomorrow of how the night went, and how the wall looked! Thanks to ‘the wall‘ too, great little initiative.

I’ve just finished stretching my logo onto a big canvas in preparation for my upcoming exhibition!

Come check out my canvases on display along with some funky beats at ‘The Wall’, World Bar, Upstairs room, Kings Cross on the 9th of December.

It starts at 8pm, and there will be a glass of free bubbles as you arrive. You can purchase canvases on the night if you wish, or just hang out and listen to some funky beats. I have a lot of new stuff, as well as canvas prints I have designed myself!

Bit of background is good I guess: ‘The Wall’ is an awesome new initiative a friend of mine put me onto. They are getting small artists like me out there.

Coral Flowered Print

I love this colour! This canvas was created from a top that was no longer being worn, but I loved th pattern so much. Its a repetitive print of coral coloured flowers and looks great and vibrant on a canvas. Its number 19 in my collection, and it goes with a few of my other ones including the grey canvas called ‘beau’ and the ‘cobweb’ canvas if you were to put it into a trio.

Art Deco for your wall

Check out my latest canvas, its a bit ‘Art Deco’ with the bright blue stencil type flower. It was actually originally a napkin that must have belonged to a table set. I loved it the second I saw it and knew it would make a great piece of art. This is number 21 of my collection, and is a one-off. There was only this napkin there to be found, so this is the only one I made of it. Truely orginal.

New Retro Blue patterned canvas

Check out my latest canvas. I could only make one in this fabric, so it’s very unique. Number 20 of my collection. It’s kinda retro but modern. I love the blue its a great turquoisey blue with bright reds mixed through the geometric kind of pattern.

It started out, as most of my canvases do, as an item of clothing and was given to me before the owner was about to throw it! I knew straight away it was going to make a great piece of art!

I think this would look great with other canvases with reds or yellow even.
